That one case smaller where smaller is better…
The main goal of this release is to reduce the Dynode memory usage to help optimize hosting. A massive improvement from the previous version that could easily peak over 1000 MB of ram with this one peaking at just under 400 MB and staying at 200–300 MB after sync.
With that in mind, Dynode hosting will now be more accessible through the ability to host multiple nodes on one instance due to increased headroom.
That said, Dynamic 2.3.5 Needs to be re-synced from the beginning. Though it wouldn’t take long with the current fast sync, a bootstrap file will be provided alongside the wallet including simple instructions.
The Dynamic 2.3.5 release is planned for Friday 21st of September.
